It is a campsite on the outskirts of Tsukuba. It's cheap, close and easy to camp. There are many families and it is lively in the daytime, but it is early at night. I could see street lights and car lights in the distance, which was kind of nice.
First of all, the price is cheap. You can also use the shower room for free. There are places where hot water comes out in the kitchen. It is convenient because there is a supermarket shopping mall nearby. There is also a convenience store within walking distance, which is helpful.
Is it for young people?
There is a charge for barbecue and camping facilities, but playground equipment and parking are free of charge.
It is a hideaway camp spot that can be reached in just 10 minutes from the Tsukuba Kenkyugakuen district.
Although the facility is located on a flat land, the area of the forest is large, so you can stay cool even on hot days.
Even if you don't have camping equipment, you can rent iron plates, nets, firewood and other cooking utensils for a fee, so you can have a BBQ if you bring only the ingredients.
However, there are Super Kasumi and Taiyo, Costco, Trial, and Eas Tsukuba about 5 minutes by car from Yukarinomori, so you can really come empty-handed, and it's okay to forget something. (You can also procure a little camping equipment at the Kohnan Home Center next to Kasumi. If that is not enough, there is a Yamashin Grand Stage in less than 15 minutes, so you can also procure a stove etc.).
The cooking facilities are well maintained and there are many stoves, so it seems that there are vacant spaces even on weekends unless it is a very busy season.
The number of playground equipment is not large, but it is still fulfilling enough for children to play for about an hour, there are many insects, and you can fish for crayfish (bring your own tools) in the pond, so research I think it's a good place to stop by when you come to the school district.
It is a forest campsite with abundant nature.
The reception will be done at the window next to the entrance of the Insectarium.
Bikes and bicycles can be brought into the site. However, please note that the bike will be pushed by hand. The wheel chocks at the doorway are quite narrow, so it may be difficult for wide vehicles.
There is a sign that prohibits fire in the hall, but this is like an open fire in "Natural Parks Act Article 21-6 Burning or bonfire." Use of firearms for cooking and warming Seems to be OK. However, please note that you may be required to refrain from bonfires using a bonfire when the wind is strong from the viewpoint of fire prevention.
I camped the day after the rain, but the pegs were easy enough to pierce with my feet and still firmly fixed, so it was easy to set up.
The kitchen is made of concrete that feels the season. The toilet was Western style. There was a shower and it seemed to open from night to dawn, but since this is also the same as the kitchen, there are almost no users.
The range is quite vague on the free site, but it seems OK anywhere in front of the ropes and athletics in the south, and inside the road to it.
Since there is a highway nearby, there is a noise of cars coming and going, but I think it will make you feel more popular and less scary.
Be careful of crows.
