Fantastic event space, great food and one of the best views in town.

Beautiful little “hidden” gem (I don’t think anything in higashiyama is hidden and not crowded enough). Amazing views and the food has generous portions. Food is delicious although the menu is somewhat limited. They also have a large dessert and parfait selection. Would definitely come back for that with some tea for the amazing view of Kyoto city.

A beautiful restaurant tucked away from the Main Street of Higashiyama. It’s away from the tourists and has an AMAZING view of the city! The udon and soba was amazing and the tea as well. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is a peaceful oasis from the busy temple streets. It’s not too pricey either.

Must visit beautiful restaurant on the most picturesque street in Kyoto with breathtaking view of the city. Wide selection of Japanese food and desserts. English menu available.

The food is so so for Japan standard to me but the view is very nice!
