Very nice local onsen. Entrance ¥100, you need to bring your own towel and shampoos. Operating hours 07:00-11:30 & 15:00-23:00, no parking. Onsen stamp at the reception where you pay. The changing area is separated from the bathing area with a door which has a half transparent glass so if you put your stuff at the upper boxes close to the door you will be able to see them while bathing, no lockers. The tub is medium to big size with plenty of room around to wash up. There is a hole and piece of wood which you can use to block the hot water is the temperature is too hot. Facilities were clean, the building has a high ceiling, the tub felt slightly deeper than the usual ones and the whole place has a bit of a retro feeling. Recommended! Simple hot spring, pH7.6

It is a women's bath. There is a baby cot. There is a stamp in the number at the entrance, but since it is an external key, I unlocked it and stamped it. It was around 9:30 on weekdays, but there were many regulars. All of them were kind, such as giving up the washing place to regulars with bad feet. It is a communal hot spring that stands quietly in the residential area behind Beppu Station.
