Hongo Post Office

Had the rudest experience trying to deliver a package just now. My Japanese is not great so tried to clarify a few things to write on the form slowly and with simple English and the person at the desk started freaking out and even tried speaking Chinese (I can't speak Chinese) that even her Japanese colleagues next to her looked at her in shock. She's a middle aged (I guess late 40s) and probably Chinese if she tried to speak to me in Chinese, lady with shoulder length hair. Looked aggressive from the start to be honest.

This place opens for 24hours. Convenient to get any packages.

A large post office in front of Todai. The postal system is open from 9:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays. Savings, insurance and money orders are only available on weekdays 9: 00-16: 00 ATMs can be used on Sundays. Weekdays 7: 00-23: 00 Saturdays 8: 00-21: 00 Sundays and holidays 9: 00-20: 00
