Shobugahama Campground Store and Bath

This campground is small but it offers a nice escape with plenty of services for 1250yen per person /night. We were able to take our 70lb. poodle with us for the weekend with no issue. We got a spot on Friday night even on a Japanese holiday weekend in October. The campground offers beautiful views of the lake, a small restaurant, fire wood, small burn pits and blankets for rent, small boat launches, and lots of outdoor kitchens to clean up. It can get pretty cramped with tents, but hey, it's Japan.

Nice location, near Mt.NANTAISAN and Lake THUZENJIKO. You can visit Mt.NIKKOSHIRANESAN, YUMOTO hot spring area and NIKKOTOSHOGU if you take a bus.✨ I heard here is so crowded in a sunny day and on a weekend. It costs 1,000 yen a day by camping.

The uncle of the caretaker is kind and polite. The toilet and kitchen are also very clean. The location is always great. The trouble of carrying it from the parking lot by rear car is not so difficult. I can put my motorcycle up to the side of the administration building, so next time I want to go to Can Two by motorcycle.

Although it is a campsite with a beautiful scenery on the lakeside, it is popular and there are many people, so you can not secure a good place unless you go early. Depending on the season, the difference in temperature between day and night is large, so be careful when choosing a slav. The roads are crowded at tourist spots, so it's a good idea to finish shopping in advance.

Since it is located at a high altitude, you need to be careful about the cold, but the view of Lake Chuzenji is a wonderful reverse place.
