Beautiful spot in the mountains with cozy Japanese style rooms. Barbeque by the river was great and staff was very friendly

We went here for lunch and were treated with a delicious healthy lunch. The staff was incredibly friendly and interested in our stories. Besides the food and the friendly people the view is amazing!

Visited only for the day, not overnight. It was a lovely location. We reserved a barbeque set that included a grill, meat and veggies and cooked down by the river. Everything was delicious!

Had an awesome time. Cost about the same as a hostel bed in tokyo but you get an entire nice room to yourself. Mine was overlooking the river with a small patio, but I don't know if they all are that way. It was really soothing falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the river and forest. The showers are like onsen style and everything is really new. The surrounding area is beautiful too and there's a nice hot spring within walking distance. The only bad part was finding food after 8 pm but the host Ken drove me over to a convenience store to grab some stuff!
