A station where only ordinary trains on the Nankai Electric Railway Main Line, which boasts the oldest history of private railways, stop. Was this area a fishing port at the time of opening? Currently, there are lots of landfills and you can't see the sea or the coast, but the station name is like that where the place name tells the history. From now until about 52 years ago, it seems that there was an Osaka tram Dejima station near the old national highway No. 26 (current coastal street) on the west side of this station, the current Sakai police station Dejimacho police station, and the required time. Although it takes longer than the Nankai train, it seems that it was convenient to drive directly to Osaka city, but now it is old.

Since this is an unmanned station, it would be great if something went wrong and we could talk to it through the intercom, but it would be a problem if the station staff didn't solve the problem.

One stop north of Sakai Station is an express stop, so it's a very plain impression. A deep Sakai appearance that has basically remained the same since Showa era except when it was elevated. . .
