Bokusenji is a temple of the Soto sect located in the center of Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture. It was a giant temple with the Shichido Garan founded by Minamoto no Yoshinaka, but it was destroyed by fire in the battle of Araki Murashige's Arioka Castle in 1579. After that, Sumizoji Temple (Fushimi-ku, Kyoto City), the historic site of Dogen Zenshi, was devastated, so Mr. Karakui, a resident of Itami, went to the site of Kamihiyodorizukatori, which was a branch of Arioka Castle. It was relocated and revived. Later, it became the bodhisattva of Araki Murashige. Mr. Karakui changed to Mr. Ueshima in posterity. During the Kanbun era (1661-1672), it belonged to Daikoji Temple in Ikeda, and during the Hoei era (1704-1711), Tsuneon Ueshima was rebuilt and opened Daikoji 16th Unmine Mizuyamatosho. did. The current Dou is a new construction in 1995.
