There is nothing special about the station building, neither old nor new. There seemed to be a ryokan and a dining room in front of the station, but when I stopped by, it happened to be open.

It is located on the old Yoshino riverside Itano-cho, and it is sandwiched between the Takamatsu Expressway and the Tokushima Expressway. At the same time, the atmosphere feels good because there is nothing around the station and you can't find a convenience store. There are many Itano Station turnaround trains on the Kotoku Line regular trains, but the interval is broken, and there are also time zones where there are two hours for Tokushima. Going to Takamatsu crosses the prefectural border at the next Awa Omiya, so it will be reduced to 9 each above and below.
