We were recommended to come here by a local ♡ We arrived around 1pm and was able to sit down right away. Immediately, the chefs are welcoming and start conversing with you. The sushi set they recommended at fish of the day as well as fish in season. Absolutely delicious! Some fish just melts in your mouth! I recommend checking this place out :) it is totally worth it!

So so good we visited twice in a 5 night stay on Sado Island! Found the restaurant as recommended by the Sado Island Magazine guide we got on the ferry. It is also highly recommended on tripadvisor too! Absolutely with full merit. Friendly staff who offered us a full English Menu on entry (no English was spoken) and offering us to sit at the sushi bar or a private room. We opted for the sushi bar both times. Fast service, great to see fresh sushi being prepared by an experienced master chef. I recommend the sushi platter, ramen and the buri katusdon - a local special dish only served in Sado I believe. Everything was bursting with flavour and we enjoyed their complementary green tea. An absolute delight and a full belly on exit!

Great sushi bar - Choeaburo is the main chef and he is great at conversation too if you speak Japanese and sit at the counter!

We arrived at 11 am and the place was full at 11:30am. A lot of locals and tourists at the restaurant. One of the most popular sushi restaurants in Sado Island. We ordered the 3000 yen amakase set, its also called chefs recommendation and they pick the best cuts of sushi. There were 3 sushi chefs and the omakase (chefs recommendation) is made by head chef and the average and good sushi sets are made by the second chef. The sushi cuts were very good but I think it’s difficult to taste the difference for average sushi eaters. I would recommend the 1900-2500 yen sushi+ramen set which comes with average togood grade sushi and one bowl of ramen.
