Currently under renovation work (as of December 2020). Until now, there was no roof on the platform, so I was waiting for the train in the rain, but after the renovation, it will have a roof. The station building will also be renewed. The length of the home does not change. It seems that crossing the railroad crossing to go from the ticket gate to the platform toward Nagoya is no different.

I think that the platform is very small and dangerous as everyone says, but it is said that repair work will be done, but I think it is better to go there now because you can taste the atmosphere of the Tokyo Yamanote Line.

It seems to be a safer station due to construction, but it is a station with a narrow island platform and gate restrictions. Unfortunately, the refuge of the island style platform had been removed. The Tokaido Main Line and the Tokaido Shinkansen run just above.
