Hachijojima Airport

Lovely little airport with friendly and helpful staff. Also English speaking staff at the information desk. Upon departure, the airport staff even waved us goodbye. The vibe of the airport really nicely represents the relaxed vibe of the island.

A small airport; what else to expect. That being said, there is a restaurant inside with some tasty meals, a rather big souvenir shop for airport's size, an info center with English speaking staff. Some booklets in English are available as well. Lastly, you can ascend to the second floor and go to the balcony to see off the plane.

Not much here. It's a tiny airport.

I am quite busy

The facility is old, but the view of Hachijo Fuji from the front of the entrance and the view from the roof are nice. On a clear day, you can feel the wind on the roof. The staff at the airport feels more relaxed than the airports in big cities. It is bright, friendly, kind, and has a high degree of liking.
