If you come from the direction of Tokushima station on the Kotoku line, it will be the last station on the Tokushima prefecture side. All limited express trains pass, and there are many ordinary trains that return at Itano Station on the Tokushima side and Hikida Station and Sanbonmatsu Station on the Kagawa side, so there are few flights. Although there are several houses in the surrounding area, there are no large settlements in the vicinity, and the prefectural road No. 1 that runs in parallel has little traffic in this area. Currently, there is an island-style 1-line 2-line platform, but there is also a mark of the platform on the side facing the station building, and it can be seen that it was once 2-line 3-line.
