The switchback was removed and a home was built on the slope of the main line. It was the same structure as Tsubojiri Station and Shinkai Station on the Dosan Main Line in Shikoku, where only ordinary trains were stopped and honor trains passed. The trace of the platform remains and it can be seen that the train departed on a horizontal platform.

A station on Nagasaki Main Line, Nagayo where there was once a switchback. I saw a home that was used before (March 2018).

It is one station on the old line of Nagasaki Main Line (Nagayo Branch Line) in Honkawanai, Nagayo-cho, Nagasaki Prefecture. In the first place, it seems that this was not a station, but a place made as a signal field called Honkawauchi signal field on October 1, 1943 (Showa 18). As a proof of the signal field, there is a switchback trace that existed until March 6, 2002. On June 1, 1952 (Showa 27), the station was promoted from the signal field, and it seems that it became Honkawauchi station that continues from the Honkawauchi signal field.
