Bando Sanjusankannon Sacred Ground 25th Fudasho. In the past, the entire mountain of Mt. Tsukuba was a temple territory, but the main hall and the three-storied pagoda were all destroyed by the abolition of Buddha in the Meiji era and the Shinbutsu bunri movement. Even after that, the temporary hall was washed away by the debris flow, and the history of Omidou was messy. So, despite being a Kannon sacred place, Omidou is small.
In 2020, a new main hall will be built and a new history will be engraved.
It's easy to look at the Tsukubasan Shrine next door, but I hope you'll visit while thinking about that history.
Bando 33 Kannon No. 25 Fudasho. It has just been rebuilt this year, so the building and the Kannon statue are shiny! Of course, it is a temple with a long history because it is selected for the Bando pilgrimage.
The atmosphere of wabi-sabi is good, but the brilliance of being new is also good.

I came to Mt. Tsukuba again following last week. It seemed that the inauguration ceremony of a new temple would be held when climbing from a different road than usual. This is called Tsukubasan Omidou Chishoin Chuzenji Temple, and Ieyasu Tokugawa worshiped Mt. Tsukuba, which is the demon gate of Edo Castle, as a "guardian of the demon gate". I decided. The "Tsukuba Road" that I studied before was called Michiga Tsukuba Road, where a material transportation road was created from the construction to renovate the temple during the time of the third shogun Iemitsu, and it became a worship road. This stone on the side of the stairs doesn't seem to have a name, but the information board says that you should stop cancer diseases and pray by touching the stone, and I also touched the stone. The main hall, which was just completed on a brand new stone staircase, was beautiful. I asked for the safety of climbing Mt. Tsukuba today. A dragon was carved on this stone near the main hall, but it is a pity that there was no information board and the identity could not be understood at all. The best thing to think about when I arrived here was the good view, but I still couldn't get out of the influence of the typhoon yesterday, and the sky was cloudy. The woman who worshiped at the same time seems to climb because she is dressed as a mountain climber, but I wonder if people who come to this kind of weather are strange. If you look up the dictionary, you like what has changed. I was curious and liked something unusual ... that's what I mean. Let's do our best this week and aim for the summit of Mt. Tsukuba.
Completion of the new main hall in February 2020 (Reiwa 2nd year)
The main hall has a nice scent of wood.
I received a red stamp.
I was fascinated by the wonderful scenery that spreads out from the precincts and looked at it for a while.
It seems to be a strict temple when it comes to dealing with smokers.
It's definitely a smell I don't want to smell in this place.
Since I and my family do not smoke, I am sensitive to the smell of smokers.
The bad breath of smokers and the smell of cigarettes emitted from clothes are unpleasant and can be smelled even if you want to avoid them.
I would like you to regard the response to smokers at this temple as a commandment to smoking.
To those who smoke 🚬
I don't like the smell of cigarette smoke drifting from afar.
It smells!
When you get close to you who smoke!
The smell of cigarettes really smells! ❗️
Some smokers may be aware of it! ❗️
Does your clothes smell like cigarettes? ❓
If it doesn't smell, your sense of smell is abnormal.
You may have a bad illness with cigarettes.
I stopped by after descending Mt. Tsukuba, but the building was beautiful and it was fantastic when I saw it at night!
