Shin-Itabashi Station

I accidently jumped on the Mita Line leaving Suidobashi station. To correctly go where I was suppose to go, I got off at Shin-Itabashi station with my son and walked to JR Itabashi station for the Saikyu line. Shin-Itabashi station is a Toei Mita Line subway station. Identified as I-17. I did not stay long here as soon as we got off, we walked a few blocks to Itabashi station.

2002 - 2005

昔は夜になると、板橋駅との間の道中が真っ暗で、なにも店がない怖いところだったけど、ここ数年は活気があっていいです。駅の構造は、道路の真下ということもあって改築しづらいのか、昭和の出来たときのまんまなので、ラッシュ時や、体が不自由な人にはしんどいかな。

Underground station on the Toei Subway Mita Line. It is a few hundred meters away from JR Itabashi Station. Because the platform is small, it is very crowded mainly in the morning and evening. I tried to transfer from JR Itabashi Station to Shin-Itabashi Station, but I didn't know the entrance to Shin-Itabashi Station, so I gave up the first time. I checked it carefully and it worked well from the second time. The stairs from the subway platform to the ground exit are sudden and tiring. There were many condominiums around Shin-Itabashi Station, and there were several cheap and attractive izakaya before Itabashi Station. The Mita Line has only 6 small cars, so I'd like to see 8 cars as soon as possible.

It is easy to get to Otemachi, Tokyo and other suburban areas such as Ikebukuro and Shinjuku, but the rent is low and I think it is a true secret station. The station itself has a dim and sober atmosphere typical of the Mita Line. Supermarkets, drugstores, bookstores, cafes, restaurant chains, and other convenience stores for everyday life are available.
