It is an old station but staff at station is aleays nice and informative and willing to help. Directions are clear since there is not a lot of train lines. It is never crowded with people. The athmosphere is relaxing and serene. Beautiful flowers blossoming everywhere around the station in early spring time around the month of april. Nearby is the infamous Osaka Boshi Medical Center, the Women and Children Hospital. The downside is that the restaurants, other than McD and Mister Donuts, in nearby building only open at 5pm.

It is the closest station to the Osaka Prefectural Police Department Komyoike Driver's License Examination Center. Limited express Semboku liner, section express, semi-express, local trains.

I visited at night, but the night view was very beautiful. The square with a round light is beautiful. The east-west passage is quite crowded, but the first-floor square lit by a round light reminds you of a Greek temple. But it was not popular. It was a very nice station, but I felt uncomfortable and the gap was irresistible. If it is not the New Year's holiday, it may be crowded with bicycle parking users. ATM and monthly installation at station premises. On the first floor, there is a commercial facility called Gwangmyeong Pond Ichiban-kan, and several commercial buildings stand nearby.
