A station where only regular trains bound for Wakayama City stop. If you want to turn back due to oversleeping, etc., it is not recommended because you need to exit the ticket gate and walk about 150 meters to buy a new ticket. In March 2028, it will be continuously three-dimensionalized and will be integrated into the current Namba area station .... Construction has been delayed for a long time!

The station building in the Taisho era was retired due to the elevated construction. Now it is a new reinforced concrete station building. The old station building seems to be preserved and utilized f (^^ ;.

It is a historic building and has been selected as a registered cultural property of the country. The stained glass above the entrance is very beautiful. According to the elevated Nankai Main Line, the building will be relocated to the side of the line and left as in the adjacent Hamadera Koen Station.
