The mountain was opened in 1344 by a Japanese superior. Originally, she was under the protection of Katsuyori Takeda, but after the fall of the Takeda family, Ieyasu Tokugawa was granted various exemptions. The main hall, Mikage hall, etc. were destroyed by the Great Earthquake of Ansei 5th, but the main hall, Hozo, bell tower and main gate remain. In a large precinct, there is a Japanese ginkgo tree that is over 200 years old, and every November there is a grand festival. The door of the main hall is locked, and you can only look inside from the gap. There is no sign, no tourists or worshipers, and I am a little lonely.

In 1344, Nichiyo superiors were founded. Oda Nobunaga's Shinzuka, which was debated by Akechi Mitsuhide at Kyoto Nichiren Sohon Honnoji in 1582, is enshrined here in Nishiyama Honmonji. Two years after the transformation of Honnoji, I was amazed by the black-painted mountain gate and the wide approach that Hidekichi Daiko, who achieved Taihei Taihei, performed Oda Nobunaga's funeral. I visited there when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The magnificent bell tower and the big tree of Ginkgo Tree also make you feel the age!

Walking along the approach from the parking lot at Shibakawa Sports Plaza will be a great exercise. Drive along the narrow mountain road towards the main hall, and there is a parking lot next to the main hall. Large ginkgo 200 years old, you can spend a quiet time. The main hall was not open. There was no money box. Nobunaga's neck mound is behind the main hall. One of the Fuji Gozan.
