Great atmosphere and good curry!

An abandoned home turned cafe / cinema! Just walking around inside is a trip back in time, the cinema cameras inside saved from an old cinema in town. The big room in the front is a a place you can enjoy movies with neighbors. The cafe in the back has a nice menu with curry rice (¥650) and drinks (¥300~¥350), the tables converted sewing machine stands. An old antique radio 📻 The owner is very nice, gave us a couple of Sado Island Mikan (oranges) and lets us look around. They’ve put a lot of work into fixing up the building. If you’re walking up to the old prison or scouting other abandoned houses here (there are about 50 abandoned Akiya) stop by for lunch or a movie!

Old folk house renovation theater. You can enjoy calmly in a warm space with the gentle director. Since it is a small movie theater, it is recommended to make a reservation on weekends etc. ♪

I watched a good movie in a space where time stopped. It is a calm atmosphere by remodeling an old private house. I want to bother you again. Curry was also delicious.

This time it was only a cafe, not a movie because of time, but the curry was very delicious. The movie was a very cozy space with a lot of customers, whether it was a place for people in the area to relax.
