It's a very tasteful station, I got off on the way to Oita Airport. It didn't seem unmanned, When I was taking a photo of Pasha Pasha, the conductor Do you come from the train? I called out. It seemed like I had to hand over the ticket w I'm sorry I didn't know it.

I got off at this station to go to Kitsuki Castle, but when I left the station and walked for a while, I saw a high school student with a shaved head running toward the station in a demon-like appearance. I was impressed that human beings could do their best if one train per hour. When I remember him, I couldn't rush to the Yamanote Line, which had a single train every three minutes.

Riai Station is the only single-line section north of Oita on the Nippo Main Line. There is a convenience store along the national highway, which is a 5-minute walk from the station front, but there is nothing else. A taxi won't come even if you wait, so you need to make a reservation. On the national highways, there are about one regular bus running between the airport and Oita City every hour. From the station, walk to the right and cross the railroad crossing and walk for about 30 minutes to reach the center of the Ogami district, but there are convenience stores and elementary and junior high schools to some extent. The limited express doesn't stop, so if you're sightseeing, we recommend getting off at Kitsuki or Shibuya station. There are station staff during the day. The toilet is not very clean, but it is outside the ticket gate. From the ticket gate at the island-style platform, take the stairs to the railroad track and then to the platform. A station with a countryside atmosphere full of nature.

Because it becomes a single line around the station of the Pass at the Nichirei Line, the ordinary train often stops for quite a long time with waiting for an opposite train or limited express
