Perhaps the first time you visit, you'll be amazed at the scale. Perhaps because of its location, it's not very famous, but it's not related, but it's underestimated and disappointing. For example, Ashikaga School in Tochigi was founded in the Muromachi period and has excellent architecture, but what you can see now is reconstruction. Compared to that, this is an original, though it was built in the Edo period. I think it's not inferior to cultural values. However, no matter how impressed you are, the parking lot is free, and the auditorium and other buildings in the precincts are also free. Even if you want to drop your heart's money, it won't let you drop it (only 300 yen is available at the parking lot). In Kyoto, it costs 500 yen. Well, the inside of the auditorium can only be seen on a limited number of times a year, so that may be unavoidable, but it's worth it just from the outside. Please visit if you have the opportunity.

The auditorium of Iidaka Temple is a very large and historically valuable building designated as a national important cultural property.

It is an auditorium in Iikoji. This was the school and the current Rissho University.

[National Important Cultural Property] A wooden building with a frontage of 26.72m and a depth of 16.23m. The current building was reconstructed in 1651 in Keian (1651) at the time of the 13th Jujuin Nisuke.
