An overcrowded station. The platform and platform exits were obviously made when there was much less traffic than now, and they have not tried to fix the problem. On one end, there is a single escalator going down, with the line of people backed up for 30 yards or so at night. The other end is a bit better, with no escalator and just stairs, but still backed up. The Joban/Chiyoda line trains are often late, almost daily in the morning, even if just by 5 minutes. This is still long enough to disrupt making your connection. The trains are WAY overcrowded, with people pushing in with crushing force in the morning. More and more condo's and apartments are being built and opened along the line, which is going to make the problem worse.
