One of the few standing stadiums that Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig played in in the 30s. The seats are definitely small but the atmosphere is pleasant. Where else will you see a probiotic-promoting mascot, Yakult Man? And there is an extensive assortment of food choices at very reasonable prices for a ballpark. The stadium will be rebuilt soon so get there before that happens. Tickets can be sold out so don't expect to just go and buy a ticket on the day of the game. Yakult's website let you buy tickets online but you can also buy tickets for future games at their ticket office.
Home of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, traditional Japanese baseball stadium. awesome experience when watching a baseball match here. The diligent beer ladies are an attraction on it's own. Please support them by buying a beer or two ! As you walk from the train station to the stadium you will find many stalls selling beer and other snacks that you can bring in to consume. You have to pour your beer into a paper cup which the door security will provide to you.
Traditional japanese baseball stadium. It is the oldest stadium of japanese professional baseball. Originally opened in 1926 for use of collage baseball. It is the only outdoor stadium used by professionals in Tokyo and it feels very good. Easy to access.
Even though it was raining it was fun! It was an interesting experience seeing the Japanese baseball game life and I didn’t have any issues besides the rain
It was my first Japanese baseball game and it was awesome! The fans were great and filled with so much joy and pride for their team. The location of the stadium was amazing! The weather was perfect and if you were hungry it was easy to get something to eat and you had many choices. The overall atmosphere was great!
