The doctors in the ER were very attentive. There was a doctor who spoke English fluently. He treated me well. I think I was a bit crazy but he was very nice. The nurse who was present was kind & sweet. They handled me quickly & efficiently. I did not stay for a long time; but I thought the bed was comfy & the pink floral curtains in the resting area were cute. Going to the ER was not on my "to do list" while traveling in Japan. But I had a good experience at the hospital nevertheless. And healthcare in Japan is so much cheaper than healthcare in the USA.
worst.
-Corona compatible
When a fever comes out, it is treated as a fever outpatient, but when you go to the hospital, all the fever outpatients have to press the same intercom and wait outside the hospital. Everyone should have a fever, but they are standing without chairs. After a while, everyone is guided to another building like a prefab, but the inside is narrow and there are 6 patients, so it is not possible to keep a distance at all. Another patient is in the seat about 1 meter next to my seat. The distance between the bodies is several tens of centimeters. There is no social distance. There is only one vent at the entrance. There is no disinfectant solution at the entrance, and I am worried that I may get infected at the consultation.
-Subsequent response
As a result, I wasn't Corona, but the nurses who responded at a later date were very overwhelming. The doctor who responded was able to communicate normally instead, but the nurse talked as if he was making a fool of the patient when talking on the phone. From the middle, I suddenly talked with a tame mouth, talked about something I heard from other people yesterday, and talked about something different from the doctor's explanation. Later, when I talked to other nurses, I was talking about something else, and there was no communication or basic correspondence in the hospital.
-Medical examination
I don't know how much it can be called a "misdiagnosis", but I was curious about the contents of the examination I received at our hospital the other day, so I went to the university hospital again, and in detail, the result was "not so". I remember that it was a fairly appropriate diagnosis and explanation.
This time as well, the medicine I received at this hospital did not match, and I recovered as soon as I visited another hospital. We have prescribed more than 6 kinds of medicines, but teachers at other hospitals do not have to take anything other than 3 kinds. As a result, it recovered.
I also questioned the quality of doctors in two cases.
The impression I received was that the response was rather sloppy on the whole, especially the high-pressure response of the nurses, and I was only uncomfortable with the way the patient decided that he was bad. I will never go again.
The male nurse was so familiar that I didn't listen to my companion's story.
I don't have an appetite and feel uncomfortable, but I'm still sleepless, so even if I ask for a medical examination, it's impossible because I'm at another hospital.
When I said that I wanted to receive a human dock, I was asked to consult with my teacher (the one I was seeing at that time was an orthopedic surgeon), and I am an orthopedic surgeon, is that okay? It's okay to ask! When I told the teacher about it, I was told that I couldn't do it because the orthopedics and the human dock are so far apart (laughs). Later, when I visited another hospital and had an examination, I found out that I had cancer. I have no choice but to regret it if I could find it sooner if I had a medical examination at that time. The hospital's response is really unpleasant.
At this time when corona is still widespread, especially in Adachi Ward, the temperature is not measured at the entrance because the infection is spreading. There is no thermometry until the reception number is called in the waiting room after the entrance is called and the number is called Even if you are told that you do not notice. There are too many points to watch out for in the very dangerous hospitals and waiting rooms, where the old men who speak loudly without returning even after the examination is over. Since there are many elderly patients who come to our hospital, the hospital should take the initiative in efforts to prevent hospital infection, protect at least patients, nurses, and doctors, and at the same time, take the thermometer at the entrance and attribute the patients who remain in vain to avoid confinement.
