It is a station on the Kotoku line. Although it is located in Aizumi-cho as an address, it is used from 3 municipalities near the boundary between Tokushima City and Kitajima Town. There are many users at stations near Tokushima, and about half of the limited express trains stop there. Since there are both regular trains available on both the Kotoku and Naruto lines, there is a reasonable number of trains. The Naruto Line branches off from Iketani Station next to it, but it is possible that this train may be treated as a transfer station, as many limited express trains pass through Iketani Station. It is also a part where I feel the complexity of the railway rules, such as special cases of passing branch stations ^ ^; It's a manned station for the time being, but now it seems that the holidays are unattended all day. There is a good bicycle parking lot when you leave the station. On the other hand, it is also the closest station to Tokushima Kita High School and is often used by students.

Aizumicho's only station with 2 lines facing each other. About half of the limited express Uzushio stops. There was an exchange where the stopped Uzushio waited for the passing train (at least in 2017).

We recommend a daily set meal that comes out of Katsuri Station and is served at an old-fashioned coffee shop "Banquet" on the left corner (in front of the multi-storey parking lot). I am alone, so the food here is my source of nutrition Wouldn't it be great if the amount was only 650 yen? It is all handmade.
