Kosei-ji is the Shingon sect of Kinfukuyama, and the principal image is Yakushi Nyorai. The founding is said to be in the late Nara period, the Jingo Keiun year. Originally located in Kamitsui, Gotsu City, it is said that the place name of Kosei-ji Mansion remains. Relocated to Onuki in August 1701 and rebuilt. The Hall of Fame was extremely majestic, but it was burned down by the Great Fire of Bunka and rebuilt in May 1815.
