The best spots are often hidden in back alleys like this one! The food was amazing if a little pricey. Absolutely worth checking out! I recommend the Angus steak meal!

Bistro/Beer Hall hidden down an unsuspecting alley only 3 minutes from Tachikawa North Exit. Restaurant is European styled and pretty spacious. As the name suggests, they have beer. They have a monthly rotating selection of bottled Japanese craft beers, 4 beers on tap and then your usual mix of highballs and cocktails. Food is meat-centric and mostly non-Japanese bar food.

Good atmosphere, food, beer, of course, the clerk's sense of distance, everything is comfortable. I drank too much for eight hours because it was so comfortable.

The timing of the knobs is good, and the clerk's response is also good.
