特急が止まり、付近に、大病院が２つあります。 大学もあり、それなりに利用者はいますが、設備は、まちまちです。 いつの間にか無人駅になっていました。 この付近では、石井駅か佐古駅が、昼間のみ有人です。 企画乗車券の発行は、徳島駅まで行く必要があります。

Station where private hospitals such as prefectural central hospital and Tokushima University School of Medicine hospital gather. I think the facilities of the station as these nearest stations. It seems to be more convenient to get on the bus from Tokushima station.

Despite the unmanned station, there was a big kiosk in the station building, but it closed in May 2016. A dirty unisex toilet is outside the ticket gate.

It is difficult to tell at a glance what line the train departs from, but it is listed in the timetable. I feel lonely at an unmanned station. Ticket vending machines can only be used for cash and transportation ICs cannot be used. I feel that it is far from cashless. I bought a limited express ticket by mistake, but I couldn't refund it, so I asked for it at Tokushima Station.
