Chofu Airport Observation Point

There is only one commercial airline operating from Chofu Airport. It serves the islands that are part of Tokyo Metropolitan city limits, known as Izu Islands or 伊豆諸島. There are multiple flights daily traveling to the various islands, the farthest of which are the Ogawasawara Islands, located nearly 1000 km south of Tokyo.There are also several private individual planes and a flight school which also make use of Chofu Airport.

The place name that was in English became a hill of observation before I knew it. Since it is a small hill, you can get a good view of Chofu Airport. There is a bench on the hill, and the hill itself does not seem to be a lawn, but it is covered with short grass so it does not get very dirty even if you sit down. It's a great place to visit when there are planes departing and arriving.
