It is a temple of the Soto sect whose mountain name is Mt. Taihei, and it is said that Saburo Aso, the lord of Aso Castle, opened it in 1545 as a bodhisattva temple of Mr. Aso who ruled the area. An evergreen tree of the Yellowwood family that grows in the precincts, the estimated 300-year-old "Nagi" is designated as a tangible cultural property (natural monument) of Namegata City. There are parking lots on the left and right of the road, and there are also toilets.

It is pretty and well maintained. There are cars in open areas in front of the temple and paved inside I'm not in trouble at all. However, since it is near the intersection, there are times when it is difficult to get in and out.
