It is a place with a comfortable atmosphere where you can feel the silence.
Jakuseizan Ansho-ji is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji group, located at the foot of the Takashiro Bridge, which is located 700 meters northeast of Takashiro Shrine on the Honmyo River.
It was a famous temple that received the resignation of the Sojo Dojo in the territory from the first Ryuzoji Ieharu, and was the main team used for lodging such as daimyo and Siebold.
It is said that the temple bell was the first time to tell the time, "Ikibane," and for 220 years until 19th year, it was said that the time was reported without any rest. It is also known as a famous place for autumn colors.
The bell tower was damaged by the Kumamoto earthquake in April 2016. Restoration work started in September of the same year, and the structure of the stone wall was complicated, and due to the construction work of the Kumamoto earthquake that continued in various places, the workmanship was insufficient, and the completion was delayed until February 2018.
The Jodo Shin Buddhism Honganji Temple School is one of the Jodo Shin Buddhism sects, and the main temple is Nishi Honganji Temple in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, which originated from the Oya Mausoleum, the grave of Shinzo Shinran. The number of believers is about 7.96 million, the highest among the denominations of the Jodo Shinshu sect, and the highest among Buddhist religious corporations.
It ’s a place where you can feel the history every time you go to the law.
