Definately the best soba noodles I have eaten anywhere in Japan. I had basil soba and could taste the love in every mouthful. Beautifully presented (the master also makes his own ceramics which are used in the presentation). If you are visiting Nara make an effort to search this place out. You won't be disappointed. 10/10.

It's a quiet business, so if you don't look closely, you'll pass by. Soba has a solid texture and I like matching it with soup stock. I'm going to use Oroshi, which does not kill the scent of buckwheat noodles, rather than damask. I like it because there is a bit of a bitter taste. I don't want to be known so much, but I want this store to continue.

You can not see from the outside, but you can see the beautiful garden of fresh green when you enter the shop. Soba received a reward. It seemed that you could eat as much as you like with hand-painted Kosi and delicate taste, with good throat. The store owner himself made a bowl of soba and the personality of the couple, the sense of temperature throughout the space including the garden, and I felt comfortable and happy. I feel the strong commitment of the shopkeeper from the place where Japanese paper is carefully pasted to the air conditioner. I can not forget the sticky texture that I ate for the first time. When I come here I always want to eat again.

The shop is a simple, clean and sophisticated soba noodle shop. It seems that all the bowls are handmade by the shop owner, there is a sense of unity, and it brings out the deliciousness of Soba even more. We recommend cold soba with basil, which you can not eat elsewhere. The chicken was very delicious! Dessert pudding is too sweet and hearty. When you stop at Horyuji, you can enjoy the Japanese beauty while eating here.

It is a small soba ya who is run by a couple. The menu is very simple, but "Soba noodles" was the key point personally. You can also buy potter's handcrafted pottery in a small shop. I was able to spend a relaxing time with delicious soba while looking at the beautiful garden.
