Jokoji Temple is the last temple of Kamakura Komyoji Temple, and was built in the 3rd year of Genki (1572).
There is a grave of Yone Noguchi, an English poet and literary writer who introduced Japanese culture overseas in the Meiji, Taisho, and early Showa eras. There is a grave of Tamaki Tokuyama, a singer who was born in the Meiji era and was active in the early Showa period, who sang the song "Neighborhood" that begins with Tonton. Tamaki Tokuyama was the son of a practitioner in the neighborhood of this temple. The school song of Fujisawa City Honcho Elementary School is also composed. There is also the Akame Jizo, which has a tradition of having a test to pray for coughing (preventing epidemics). There is Nakayokosuka Park in the back of the main hall, and there is a stone monument of Benkei's kubizuka in the back, but without passing through the graveyard, walk from the narrow road beside the Jomikan (Fujisawa Public Hall Annex) on the west side of Jokoji Temple. Please worship.

Walking distance from Fujisawahommachi station. Fujisawa Shichifukujin This temple enshrines Fukurokuju, and there is a shrine behind the temple, which is said to belong to Benkei. You can get the red stamp at the priest's house next to the main hall. It is a temple with a wonderful red stamp, a sincere resident, and a very good impression. It is an area that you will not like, such as Shirahata Shrine, Yoshitsune Koshu-washing Well, Sogonji Temple and Genji.
Fujisawa is one of the seven lucky gods. It is located at Fujisawa-juku on the Tokaido. If you ask for a red stamp, they willingly respond.
You can see the mountain gate at the end of the path beside the fire station, which is close to the signal at the Fujisawa Municipal Hospital entrance.
A healing Jizo greets you at the gate.
This priest is sincere and kind
This Kaya tree, a natural monument designated by Fujisawa City, is said to be 320 years old and it is powerful as it has been selected as one of the 100 best Kanagawa trees.
It seems that the shrine grounds were reasonably dense with trees and used to be dense in the past, but it seems that the current chief priests have been gradually improved.
One of Fujisawa's seven lucky gods, Fukurokuju, is sitting at the side of the main hall, and every January every year the stamp rally fills the precincts. Masu
There are a lot of new efforts being made by wonderful residents.
