Nichiren sect temple. It is worship in December 2014. It is a beautiful precinct. There are fine cherry blossoms around the parking lot.

A branch of the Ryobun-ryu, Bando-ji temple of the Nagao family. During the Azuchi-Momoyama period, there was a record that Ieyasu Tokugawa came to Kamakura-gun to falconry, stayed at Kunenji and ate lunch, and the lunch box is still handed down as a temple treasure. Koenzan Kujoji Temple. A temple of the Nichiren sect, which is said to have been built by Hidenaga Umeda, Omori Morinaga (a vassal of Mr. Gohojo), who contributed to the residential land in 1718. It is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu, who was in the Odawara camp, stopped at Kujoji Temple and gave Mitsuishi as a prize for the prayer of the fourth generation priest. After that, when he stopped by for a falconry, Nichidaiki presented Yuzu, and Ieyasu gave him a lunch box with a "Aoi crest". This bento box is called Gyoko (or Hakko) and is a treasure of Kujoji Temple.
