It is a temple of the Shingon sect Chiyama school in Yabasehoncho, Akita City. It is said that Yoshitaka Satake, the second feudal lord, was founded in 1665 (Kanbun 5). Many Koshinto, stone Buddha statues and stone towers are lined up in the precincts, and there are 6 guardian dogs in 3 pairs. The principal image of Shomen Kongo Doji is said to have been one of the three Yang Metal Monkeys in Japan, but unfortunately it was burnt down.
