Visited around 15:00 on February 23, 2020.05. Chokokuji is a temple of the Soto sect. It is called Daoxing Mountain It is Holy Kannon. Founded by Shimazaki Castle 13th generation Mr. Saemon Shimazaki, Nagakuni, Of civilization 2 (1470) It is said to be the foundation of the Eisho era (1504 ~ 21) at current location It means that it was relocated. The ancient cathedral was destroyed by fire Therefore, in the 1st year of Ansei (1855) It seems that it was rebuilt.
