Shinjuku Piccadilly Cinema

Fantastic cinema with pristine audio quality and great display. I've enjoyed watching Metallica's S&M2 movie here. I came in without reservation, using the automatic ticket machines is very straightforward and text is displayed both in Japanese and English. 10/10 recommended cinema, even for music! You don't have to come very early to this cinema (just check seat availability on the website by going to the reservation page, to anticipate crowd), 10 minutes upfront is more than enough, even if you didn't reserve.

The theatre was nice with a lot of screens. The theatre was very big, new, and clean. I think this theatre was built in what was it should have been a department store. I say this because there’s no elevator for 6-9 floors. You ride the escalators up. Other than that, great place!

I really enjoy this theater. The seats are comfortable and the ease of access for foreigners and those limited in Japanese language ability are easy enough. Tickets are easy to purchase online and foreign credit cards can be used for purchase. At some times the food lines can be long but they move along. The cinemas open 15 minutes prior to the movie and the seating is reserved, so if you expect a movie to be popular I would advise ordering online and picking up the tickets at the kiosks.

It's a lovely small cinema. We went on a rainy day it was just so cozy.

Average cinema, definitely not the best you can find in Tokyo. The theater that we went to was on the 9th. They do have a wide variety of shows though so that’s good.
