Farmer's Cafe Project

I had a tasty vegan plate and a can of organic beer. We sat on the back porch area that was mostly enclosed but with some open windows out to the garden. The floor seating tables had heaters and were so cozy.

Farmer's cafe project is hugely underrated. This has been my go-to lunch spot in Shimokitazawa for the past few months. The organic vegetables are very fresh and tasteful. I recommend the cake as well which very often changes. This is IMO one of the most satisfying and healthiest restaurants in the neighborhood

Lovely vegetarian curry and vegetables with japanese rice.. all from their organic farmers market. Charming old house. Superb minestrone soup too; tasted so fresh and healthy.

Loved it! I didn't know what to expect: you take off your shoes and walk through a house, where you can easily find a seat inside or "outside". They had an English menu available which was short but I didn't mind. The serving size was HUGE, especially for the set menu price! Which was a nice change compared to other restaurants serving vegan options. Service was super quick, polite, friendly. Can't wait go back next time I'm in Tokyo!
