The mountain is Takakuwayama in the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school. On the grounds, there is a statue of Amida Nyorai, a concrete statue of Buddha (100,000 ossuary buddha, commonly known as Shogawa Daibutsu and Kanaya Daibutsu). Shogawa Daibutsu is too famous for knowing more about the temple itself. The main hall is a truly magnificent Jodo Shinshu building. The history seems old. In the precincts, there is a treasure-like building with a tiled roof. There was also a Shinran Jojin statue.
