As you may already know, it is the westernmost railway station in Japan. It opened as a flat doorway in 1945. In 1945, the Imari Line, Matsuura Line, and Sasebo Line were integrated into the Matsuura Line. And as you know, it became Matsuura Railway as the third sector in 1988. In 1989, the following year, the name was changed from Hiradoguchi to the current "Tabira Hiradoguchi".
During the JNR era, C11 ran two passenger cars (one car was half a passenger car and the other half was postal freight), and in 1971, when the steam locomotive disappeared, a two-car diesel car ran. It was an organization of Kiha Uni 20 series and Kiha 20 series or Kiha 25 series.
There is something I want to add. The royal train of Emperor Showa and Empress, who went to the Nagasaki National Athletic Meet in October 1969, goes around the Matsuura Line from Sasebo to Imari and from Imari to Arita. From Sasebo to Imari, the servant was the main duty 48627 and the auxiliary machine 28629. Incidentally, between Imari and Arita was the towing of a single C11165.
It seems so. I must say that it is non-electrified. It is not good to say that anything is a train if it is a railroad. You should tell it correctly.
Google map is also bad. Anything at the station is marked as a train. If you don't know, just write it as a train. It leads to everything. Map editors, read this and make corrections. It would be impossible.
The photo of the steam locomotive is an excerpt from "Kyushu Steam Locomotive" published by the Moji Railway Administration Bureau. This book was distributed as a memorial to the publication because my father was a Japanese National Railways employee. I got it.
It's the westernmost station
It's cool for a light chin ☹️
It has been erased and reposted.
Don't get me ... 20.09
The westernmost station in Japan.
A small museum is open from 9 am
I'm sick. You can walk to the market with a little effort
I live near Nonakacho Station, but I can't run a train. Because it is non-electric, only diesel cars are running. If you don't know it's a train, don't write it. Someone is written. I don't think anything should be written as a train. If you put it on the map, I would like you to provide correct information.
