Green Rich Hotel Iwakuni

Comfortable, friendly, and clean! Its conveniently located very near the train station, easily walkable with luggage. Very affordable too! It’s near many good restaurants and a nice grocery store so a good place to stay for a short period or an extended visit. The buffet breakfast is below average but easy if you don’t have time to go out for food.

Nice affordable hotel, it's close to the train station, and there are alot of restaurants in the area to choose from. Hotel has a breakfast option, but keep in mind that there are great places to have breakfast as well.

The staff are friendly, but I would highly recommend to be ready to know some Japanese as I had to help out a few English speaking visitors. This centrally located hotel is 3 minutes (walking distance) from the train station and is in the middle of downtown Iwakuni making it ideal to walk around for food and shopping. The hotel has washers and dryers available to that's a big plus for any travelers. They also provide a simple buffet style Japanese breakfast. A good spot for the price.

Probably the most modern/clean-looking hotel in Iwakuni city limits. The room size is good for a business hotel category, and the bed is very comfortable for a good night sleep. The hotel even has a public bath and sauna for guests, and that was very relaxing. The front desk can reserve taxis going to Iwakuni Base, so I suggest reserving it the previous night. The only downside is their breakfast, since their "western" breakfast selection is very limited (yogurt, toast, plain cereal, bad scrambled eggs, and that's about it). Location is right in the middle of downtown Iwakuni, and restaurant selection nearby is extensive. Overall, it is the best choice for a stay in Iwakuni!

Near Lawson and lots of izakaya. Also just a 5 to 10 minute walk to train station depending on your speed. Breakfast is a good spread - lots of hot drinks variety and juices and milk. Has some continental but focus on cooked Japanese food which was delicious includes white rice, miso soup, curry, pork sausage, the usual small side dishes like egg roll, vege, fried mackeral and salad.
