Despite the station name, it is not in the center of Noda City, so be careful. Surrounded by Kikkoman-related factory facilities that developed Noda City, the city hall and the city are far away. Currently, construction work is underway to elevate the railroad tracks and stations between Nodashi Station and Atago Station, but until completion, it is necessary to cross a railroad crossing and there will be some traffic congestion. On the west side of the railroad track, the vast site of the former Kikkoman factory will be leveled and redevelopment will proceed. It will change drastically when the elevated construction is completed and redevelopment progresses. On the other hand, historical buildings remain along the Nagareyama Highway, and there are many small shops, but I hope that the station front will survive even after the development and development.

In 2017, there was an exhibition about railways at the Noda City Folk Museum, and I took the Tobu Urban Park Line (Tobu Noda Line) from Funabashi. I used to live in Kashiwa while I was a student, and I used to use this line a few times to play, but at that time I had the impression of a local line. Recently, I feel that the atmosphere along the railway lines is changing, including this station, as the number of elevated railway stations and the number of double-tracked railway lines are increasing. Also, there is a soy sauce factory around the station, but the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet.

Since the Tobu Noda line is a single line, there will be a meeting for going up and down at this station, but during that time the door is open.
