Never mind the temple itself, but the view to the Yufudake outside the temple is the main reason why you should come here a bit of time allows, the view is just beautiful

I can not tell all Google Maps user exactly. But, They are very kind person. They helped me to spend a time in Yufuin in PEACEFUL SEASON. Maybe, You can imagine what I want to say. Please come here and walk around the temple and small river side in peaceful season especially. You will find this is the peaceful place to have fun not such the avenue with small shops like Yunotsubo-kaido (Yunotsubo-road or Younotsubo-street). But, I can say don't expect too much about their temple like Kyoto or the Heritage. Yufuin is like that. You should go to Dazaifu, Kyoto or Nara if you'd like to see famous typical Japanese temples. Anyway, To People in this temple. Thank you so much for your kindness. こちらのお寺の方は親切です！私の望みを叶えてくれました。内容を言うと間違いなく迷惑がかかると思うので言えませんが・・・ P.S. お寺の女性の方、ありがとうございました。

Really cute shrine downtown with a bell, beautiful gate and statues. I don't know what the previous raters were thinking.
