You can see Cherry blossom in spring .
Peony , Rabbitear Iris and Satsuki in early summer.Hydrangea in rainy season, called 'Tsuyu', fresh green maple in summer.
Of course you can enjoy red maple and Hagi in autumn.Camellia sasanqua and Flowering kale in winter.
Especially I recommend backyard with beautiful Moss which is calm and well kept.
You can enjoy at least an hour in great temple ' Fudoin '!
An interesting temple which survives the A-bomb
Although it is called Fudoin, the principal image of the only national treasure Kondo (main hall) in Hiroshima city is Yakushi Nyorai. Fudodo stands humbly on the far right of the main hall. It's free to visit, and the precincts are a playground for local kiddies. I worshiped twice and it was the same twice, so that seems to be normal. It is a loose-feeling temple where old playground equipment for young children is left beside the tower gate, which is an important cultural property of the country. However, the bell tower is designated as an important cultural property of the country in addition to the tower gate, as it is truly a national treasure. The main hall of Zen Buddhism seems strange to the Shingon Buddhist temple, but this is because Ankokuji Ekei relocated from the Zen temple built by Mr. Ouchi, who had a vast print in the Chugoku region. Yamaguchi's Ruriko-ji Five-storied Pagoda (national treasure) is also by Mr. Ouchi, and is reminiscent of its former glory. Although the inside of the main hall is wonderful, the exhibition is limited to the third day of the new year and the fifth day of May, and other than that, you can only peep through the lattice window.
It is easily accessible from the center of Hiroshima City and is in a good location just off the Astramline Fudoin Station. Since there are few existing old buildings in Hiroshima City (others are Kokuzenji Temple in the north of Hiroshima Station), it is also valuable in that sense. It seems to be about 1 / 100,000 of the name recognition of the Atomic Bomb Dome, but it is a recommended spot.
It is the only national treasure that exists in Hiroshima city that was not damaged by the atomic bomb. Fudoin is a temple of the main temple of the Shingon sect in Higashi Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The principal image is Yakushi Nyorai, and the mountain number is Shin Nizan. It is one of the Ankokuji Tosei Pagoda established in each country by Takashi Ashikaga and his brother. (Akokuji Ankokuji Temple). It is a national temple of Ankokuji.
The Kondo (national treasure) was found to have been built in Astronomy 9 (1540) from the black ink on the ceiling. The roof is made of iris and has persimmon (kokera) roof. It looks like a two-story building. However, in terms of structure, there is a single floor (brick floor), and the floor is surrounded by the huts of 3 girder rows and 4 girder rows (“between” means the number of pillars). I am. The front floor is open to the front for one depth. Fudoin is an esoteric temple, but the Kondo's architectural style is a typical Zen Buddhist (Tang) style, with the interior flooring as a room, the center with a mirror ceiling, and the surrounding area with a tight braid. The structure unique to Zen Buddhist temples can be seen in the structure of the lined ceilings, the siding doors, the flower windows, the pillars with the foundation plate, and the fan rafters. The ceiling height reaches 8.6 meters. This temple was not originally located in Fudoin, but was originally located in Ryoun-ji, the Zen Buddhist temple in Yamaguchi City, which was the Bodhi temple of Ouchi. It was relocated to the site by Keikoku Ankokuji during the Tensho era (1573-1592).
