Hidden gem that ended up being one of my favorite meals in Japan. This is the perfect spot to complement a visit to the Suntory Yamazaki distillery and very much within stumbling distance of the train station - another plus! PS - the rumors are true that this place is somehow run by only one person, so patience is a must, but will be amply rewarded!

Wonderful place. Owner is very nice. It's a small place, so she might not be able to serve you. She does it all, so please have patience if there is a delay.

Exceptional local restaurant. Food was some of the best I have had. Intimate atmosphere, only two tables and maybe 6 bar seats. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. Thank you for a great meal.

Great little spot to line the stomach before/after a trip to the distillery. The mix-iyaki is delicious, and the staff are kind and fun.

Food was very tasty and definitely worth the visit. The person tending to us was very warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
