The gateway to Sakagi town. It used to be the JR Shin'etsu Line, but now it's a Shinano railway station, and it's completely in a standing position. The area in front of the station is still narrow and narrow, and in the old days it was a post town on the Kitakoku Kaido, but it is equally lonely without even its appearance. I think that it will change a lot if a wide road can be made from the national highway side and a roundabout is widened to the south side, but since there is Techno Sakaki Station, the town may not be obsessed with Sakata Station.

I sometimes pass by a long freight train, probably because there is a big fuel tank nearby. For train enthusiasts, it might be an irresistible station.

It's a relaxed station 🚉 It seems unattended depending on the time of day. .. Is there more than one train an hour? It's a tranquil and pretty station building. I went by car this time I would like to go to Sakagi Station by train. I couldn't find any convenience store around the front of the station where I filmed. There was a vending machine. Famous in this neighborhood I was worried about the shop where you can eat soba noodles.
