Convenient station. Has nice waiting room and beautiful display (at some occasions).

26-27/02/20: Great station and city with feel-like-home atmosphere, easy access from Tokyo/to Nagano by Shinkansen & connect to Kusatsu and many more by local bus. Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza is very close to the station just only by walk, good place for shopping and chill out! 福栄 Fukuei (Ramen Restaurant) is located in this plaza, I just randomly got inside to find something hot to eat and it turned out to be a really good one. Recommended for Ramen lover. Gyoza was also a good one actually :)

A small but comfortable station. There were lifts on the both exits. Good gift shop. There were cafes on the south and inside gift shop(only selling coffee).

Free shuttle to snow park run by prince hotel, take the south exit and wait at the elevator, it's a big old bus just to the left, right behind the elevator. Skiing and gear rental price available on its website (around ¥4000). Can just walk, around 11 minutes away. Return free shuttle only available at 14.00 (2 PM) though, driver won't let you board the bus before mentioned time.

The station is clean and convenient. It is near the Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza
