I stopped here on two different cross-country bicycle trips: June 4, 2016 and July 29, 2017. The specialty at Nuido is uni of which I’m not partial. However, as it was cool in June and the rain had just stopped I went in to warm up with a coffee. Not on the menu! However, one of the ladies went to her home, made coffee and brought it back for me. That made my day! On the second trip the owner was just as welcoming and the ramen good. I hope to visit again.

Sai Village, Shimokita District, Aomori Prefecture, which is famous for Buddha Keura in July 2019. It takes 3 hours by car from Aomori city. Here is the "Suidou Shokudo", an old couple mainly serving seafood. I received a "uni bowl" that requires a reservation the day before. Probably the best sea urchin bowl in Japan. It is said that the shelling of hundreds of sea urchins will be started from about 2 to 3 am. It feels a little B-class, but the taste and freshness were outstanding. It seems that 30 to 40 sea urchins are used per person, but the price was only 1,500 yen.

About 20 minutes by car from Oma Sea urchin bowl is excellent Please note that the ama auntie goes to catch every morning, so depending on the weather, she may not be able to eat it.

We stopped by for lunch at Shimokita sightseeing. I did a preliminary inspection in advance and was feeling that I had one choice. I made a reservation in advance because many people could not eat it while looking at various reviews of other people. My mom in the cafeteria told me that I couldn't get it because it will be in stock only for a few days this month, but I made a reservation. Thanks to you, the sea urchin has arrived safely and we have set it aside! Those who entered before us wanted to look at sea urchin bowls, and the enviable beam from the surroundings was amazing. Therefore, reservation is required in advance. Whether it can be collected or not depends on the weather and fishing of the day, and then luck and commission. However, the feeling and behavior you want to eat can be said to be reserved in advance. If you want to eat, reservation is required. When I visited, my mom was singing up myself, so I had to wait. If you can't wait, please eat elsewhere. Let's do water and cleaning up by ourselves. If you do so, I think the provision time will be somewhat faster. It's a store you want to continue for a long time!
