Use for 2 nights during Silver Week
Auto site about 10,000 yen for 2 nights with 5 family members
If you buy firewood, a bundle of 400 yen
As the other people wrote, the staff were very kind and the toilets and washbasins were always clean (^^) They are willing to rent out cooking utensils.
Because the section of the site and the road of the car are small
At the last minute in my Kamaboko tent
Getting in and out of the car was also pretty cramped
Inevitably, the distance will be closer to your neighbor or opposite.
Because they were very nice people
The children got along well and had a good time
The nights and mornings were cold despite September
A sleeping bag is essential for those who are vulnerable to the cold
I walked for about 5 minutes to go down the river and there was a slightly steep staircase
It is a clear stream without complaint
It's pretty cold to swim, so if you want to swim, you might want to have a wetsuit
The water in Tenkawa Village is very clean.
Mr. Sawaya has shallow depths and can play a wide range of things from small children to adults. The stairs leading to the river run around a nearby campsite, but I think Mr. Sawaya is designed so that even small children can get off easily.
However, this time I could not sleep because the neighbor was starting to make noise and was rampaging late into the night (T_T)
If possible, it's a good time to go out on the terrace (the surrounding campgrounds are banned from 9:00 to 10:00 onwards (^^;) I wonder if it would be nice if I could make a rule and decide (T_T)
Visited around early September and used the auto site. The site feels a bit narrow, about 7x7m. You can hardly afford to hit one tent and tarp. The floor is made of gravel, so when it rains, water does not collect and drains well. The pack was well put and good. The surrounding area is surrounded by trees and it is cool with shade. Each site has a power terminal box, and you can use electricity by adding 500 yen at check-in and applying for AC power. There are several sinks and toilets in the hall, and it is easy to use as it is relatively close to any site. The bathroom was newly constructed or clean, and there was a bidet. There are two coin shower rooms next to the reception area.
There are 14 autosites and 18 bungalows in the camping site, so it is more like a camping site that mainly operates bungalows than autosites. The facilities in the bungalow look a little underdeveloped.
You can go down the river by crossing the campground road. It seems that it is good for both adults and children to play as the water level is deep and the low place is a gorge. The place is also relatively large, so even if there are many people, it will not be very crowded and it will be okay. The water was cold and too clean. It would be nice to visit again in midsummer.
The distance between the bungalows seems to be narrow.
Older than the photo
I used only a tent and clothes with my friend. It was the best with a washbasin, a shower (100 yen per time), and a clean toilet. You can enter the hot spring for 600 yen (Milky Way hot spring, with transportation). The river will be added soon!
The caretaker and the couple were very good, and I was able to get hot water and use a microwave oven. I will use it again!
